In the midst of finishing up a term at Pointers School, packing up our flat, and moving to a friend's place, I haven't taken any time lately to give an update! So sorry that it has taken such a long time to even write about
Thanksgiving!
We ARE thankful though - for each one of you and for the hosts of our TWO Thanksgiving celebrations! On the weekend prior to Thanksgiving, we went down to
Sevenoaks, where Micah's boss, Markus lives. He and his wife Carrie (who is an American!) live in a lovely old Grade 2 listed house that was built sometime in the late 1400's. It is quirky and fantastic!

They invited a small group of people over and we enjoyed a wonderful turkey with all of the trimmings! We also had a great time playing with their daughter, Anna.

She cuddled right up into Micah and nearly dozed off!

On the Friday after Thanksgiving (that mad-rush shopping day for all of you in America!), we went into the city, enjoyed a simple Italian meal, and went to the theatre! In the photo below, Micah is standing in front of Liberty, one of the oldest and most
prestigious department stores in the country!

We enjoyed the fantastic show, The Sound of Music! And the it was a shivering cold night, our memories were taken back to the warm days of August when we visited the "home" of music,
Salzberg!

On the weekend after Thanksgiving, we had our 2
nd turkey! My friend and colleague, Becky (an Australian who threw us the Thanksgiving dinner last year) graciously hosted Thanksgiving again this year, with the turkey and all the trimmings! We ate like stuffed birds and enjoyed spending time with a group of people from all over the world - South Africa, Australia, England and of course, America!

(Okay, so there wasn't any American football on
tv, but we did manage to watch some rugby!)
