New Hall Tower

Soaring above the glockenspiel... the girls and I took a 2 separate elevators up 85 meters in total up the tower that houses the infamous glockenspiel that Kate loves so much to dance to.
Here we are in elevator #2...
Great views at the top!  Both of the girls... and of Munich!

(I suspect having tiny people climbing up the decorative stone side rail is a large part of the reason why most sections have a sheet of thick clear plastic covering them!  But our girls managed to find all the ones that weren't covered!)

This little outing took place on a surprisingly clear day last week... rain had been predicted. :)
Rain did come, as predicted all last weekend.  We took the opportunity to lay low for the weekend and spend some more quality family time in Munich and resting.  A few of us had colds brewing, but it seems with the extra rest from taking a weekend off from "adventures," we're all healthy and ready for Kate's birthday, the onset of Oktoberfest, and more traveling in the coming weekends!
