She's a goofball. She makes me laugh... and no doubt, sometimes cry. :)

She's potty training and at the same time, "feeding" her dolls milk... from her own "tummy." Everyday she's in love with a different special animal and as of the last week or two, she asks, "What this called?" about EVERYTHING. Especially, because now she feels the need for each of her animals to have its own REAL name. From Polyester Pig, to Boots the little doggy, they've all got names. She thinks the tags on the animals say their names... and they do. She just doesn't realize that the name I give them is either the brand name, material its made with or location from which is came. :)
Some other funny things:

She LOVES the "Happy Birthday" song and will sing it for 5 minutes on end - sometimes longer.

She STILL thinks all birthday cakes are cupcakes and if ANYTHING has a candle in or around it, then there must be a birthday party somewhere close by!
Instead of "somebody," she says SOME-E-BUDDY.

Flavored milk (ex. chocolate or strawberry) is "special milk" in Val's world. Daddy got her hooked on it and now she asks for it EVERY night. (Mother's note: She does NOT get it EVERY night!)

She sleeps in a big girl bed now... and has never tried to get out of it when falling asleep (nap or bedtime). However, every morning between 6 and 6:30, she knocks on her door and says, "I'm awake! I get out by myself!" but has to wait for us to open the door because she can't open it herself... yet. :)

She has lots of nick-names, from "slippery" to "wiggle-worm" and definitely still "mini-Micah."

But whatever you call her - we love her to pieces!!
