Wow... 5 months old already. She's so alert and absolutely loves other children, but especially her sister!
Here she is sitting on her "perch" - the bumbo on the table, watching Valerie eat lunch. She's wearing a shirt from my FAVORITE baby store in Greenwich - Beauty and the Bib (hence the close-up on the tag!).
She makes the funniest faces at us...
Her big, bright blue eyes seem to sparkle when she looks at you - like she knows some secret and she's deciding whether or not to share it with you.
Here she is in the moby wrap! In order to keep up with her sister, I end up wearing Kate in either the moby or the mei tai a lot. She seems to enjoy it - when she's facing out, she watches all that is going on and when she's facing in, she cuddles into me and falls asleep!
Snuggling on the cough...
Kate is totally into grabbing her toes, sticking them in her mouth, and is still working on rolling over. She kicks something fierce and attempts to grab anything within reach! (She even pulled over my bowl of rice the other day! That's why she sits in the bumbo during meals and not in my lap!)
Her tongue is almost always hanging out of her mouth! She's starting to drool a lot too, so we'll be on the lookout for teeth soon!
Almost as much as Valerie is a daddy-look-alike, Kate looks more like her mommy... I think the blue eyes are the giveaway (oh, and lets not forget those ears!).
